BELCO provided design, drawings, permit, labor, materials, equipment, and project management to remodel an existing 56,968 sq.ft. space into a new Gretna Office and Machine Shop. This project was managed by Horizon Builders. The electrical installation included demo of existing office and warehouse power, replacing an existing 1,200 amp MDP, rewiring an existing 2,000 amp wire way, installing (4) 300KVA transformers and (4) 800 amp panels to feed equipment, installing one new 225KVA transformer and (2) 600 amp panels to feed equipment, installing circuits and connection for (40) pieces of equipment, re-wiring existing warehouse lighting, adding additional fluorescent warehouse lighting to achieve a desired light level, new office lighting, lighting controls, emergency/egress lighting, general purpose receptacles for office, dedicated receptacles for machine shop and cranes, and power and connections to modular furniture.
